PF on course to develop Zambia-McDonald Mulongoti

By JOHN SAKALA
Chingola Politician McDonald Mulongoti says the ruling Patriotic Front is on course to develop Zambia.

Mr Mulongoti said the unprecedented developmental projects taking place across the whole country was impressive.

He said the development under President Edgar Lungu has a bearing on the exponential growth of PF coupled with the expulsion of all divisive elements from the party.

“And to this effect, a lot of people from various opposition political parties here in Chingola have expressed willingness to join the PF in the next few days. Every well-meaning Zambian would be remiss not to laud the PF government for introducing social cash transfer to all deserving Zambian citizens.

“Also the construction of health and educational facilities and roads among others. President Lungu has gone a step further by establishing new districts thereby reaffirming the PF government’s commitment to promoting decentralisation in order to serve its people better,” he said.

Mr Mulongoti who was in bad books with Road Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili said he was elated to rejoin PF.

He said from the time which is almost a week ago, when he rejoined PF most Chingola residents and elsewhere had welcomed his decision to be part of the governing party.

“I was among the few PF founding members and have been assimilated very well into the system. Against that backdrop, I would like to invite all those who are apolitical (nonpartisan) and those who belong to the opposition to feel free to come and join PF just as we have done ourselves in order to foster development,” he said.
