Zambian striker Evans Kangwa scored a brace on Monday, December 3rd to lead his Russian side Arsenal Tula to a 4-2 win over log leaders Zenit St Petersburg.
The former Nkana striker put Tula in the lead just six minutes into the match. Zenit leveled matters in the 21st minute through Russian midfielder Daler Kuzyaev.
Tula took the lead again through midfielder Reziuan Mirzov six minutes to the break to take the lead to half time.
Zenit leveled matters six minutes into the second half thanks to a strike from Brazilian midfielder Hernani .
Tula would however take the lead again sixteen minutes to time as Kangwa completed his brace. Zelimkhan Bakaev added a fourth three minutes later to seal a 4-2 win and end a three match winning streak for the visitors, Zenit.
Kangwa has now scored four goals in last two games but despite the loss Zenit remain at the summit with 34 points, Two above second placed Krasnodar whie Arsenal Tula are 10th with 20 points from 16 games.
