Police in Lusaka have arrested a-24 year old woman for duping online buyers purporting that she was selling hair extensions.
Deputy Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has identified the con-woman as Jessica Chilambe.
Mr Hamoonga said Chilambe owns a Facebook page called ‘Style by Jessie’ which she allegedly uses to steal money from people.
“The suspect has been advertising hair products and soliciting for capital to partner with persons in her business on her Facebook page ‘Style by Jessie.’
“The sooner she gets the money from such persons she would go into hiding. She has since arrested and charged with obtaining money by false pretenses,” he said.
Mr Hamoonga has an appealed to any persons who could have fallen prey to ‘Stylish Jessica’ to report to any nearest police station.
