About 800 police officers have been deployed to Kabushi and Kwacha Constituencies ahead of the September 15, 2022 parliamentary by-elections.
Deputy Inspector General Police in charge of Operations Milner Muyambango said this is in order for the Police to ensure that the elections are held in a peaceful manner.
The Deputy inspector General of Police said the two constituencies have been divided in Zones where about 20 police officers have been deployed to ensure law and order is maintained.
Mr Muyambango was speaking to journalists in Kitwe upon arrival from Lusaka.
