Four people including the Pilot survived with minor injuries in a plane crash in Mulobezi District of Western Province.
The Pilot identified as Krestah Muchindo Hanongo 43, of Livingstone with three other passengers identified as Andries Stephanie Du Plesis 54, his Son Staphan Du Plesis 26 and Victor Boshoff 54, crashed shortly after taking off from Mulobezi Airstrip on February 27, 2022 at around 13:39 hours.
Police Deputy Spokesperson Danny Mwale said initial investigations revealed that the Airplane bearing registration number 9JRDN crashed as a result of suspected engine failure.
