The Department of Immigration has intercepted 31 suspected victims of human trafficking.
Acting Public Relations Officer, Mubanda Chileshe said the foreign nationals comprise 13 Bangladesh, 11 Somali and 7 Ethiopian aged between 18 to 40 years.
Ms Chileshe said the victims were intercepted at a house in Garden Compound belonging to a suspected Congolese refugee from Mayukwayukwa Refugee Camp Chiwew Pichou 39.
She said that the public need to be on high alert and report any suspected and cases of human trafficking to the Immigration department to ensure a whole of society approach in curbing the vice.
