Two people have drowned while one other person survived after a boat in which they were in capsized on Lake Mweru.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo said the trio met they faint when the boat they were in capsized due to strong wind and waves.
Ms Katongo said the Trio had gone fishing on 7th July, 2018 around 0600 hours on Lake Mweru .
she has identified the deceased as John Nyemba aged 17 and Geoffrey Kabo aged 23 both Kasheta Village, of Nchelenge.
Ms Katongo said Chola Shack was rescued by other fishermen.
The bodies of the deceased persons have not yet been retrieved and a search has continued.
