Chief Lubunda of the Lunda and Chishinga people of Luapula province says Zambia will change for the better if government maintains the current pace of infrastructure development.
The traditional leaders says it is good that Government is not only putting up modern hospitals and schools in urban areas but also in the rural areas.
Chief Lubunda says his chiefdom is slowly transforming into a town due to massive infrastructure development in the area.
He said that Government officials should however follow President Edgae Lungu’s directive to complete works on projects that are almost ready for hand over.
And speaking in a separate interview, Luapula Province Minister Nickson Chilangwa assured the traditional leader that all the projects that are under construction will be completed.
Mr. Chilangwa says government wants all projects to be completed and handed over to the community.
