14 Choir members of St Marks congregation in Chilenge were involved in a road traffic accident after the Minibus they were travelling in lost control.
One person escaped with injuries while 13 other members of a choir escaped unhurt..
University Teaching Hospital Public Relations Officer Natalie Mashikolo confirmed in a statement to the Independent Observer that the accident occurred when the minibus they were travelling in lost control as it tried to avoid a stationary car that was parked in the middle of the road.
Ms Mashikolo said the accident happened along Lilayi road near Choppies as they where coming from a choir competition.
she said the Hospital has attended to 14 choir members from United Church of Zambia St. Marks congregation in Chilenge.

Ms Mashikola said one member was admitted, Mervis Zulu 43 who suffered a mild head injury the rest of the accident victims were treated and later sent home.
