One hundred ans thiety three (133) houses in Lufwanyama have been connected to the national power grid by Zesco.
Lufwanyama Council Chairperson Moses Chiyuka said Zesco conducted a promotion and 133 clients applied for power from Lufwanyama Boma, St. Joseph, Nkana and Mibenga.
Mr Chiyuka said the connecrion was a good development for residents of Lufwanyama as they would be able to access electronic appliances.
He said the district is improving everyday and geting better.
Mr Chiyuka said the people are willing to connect to the power grid and enjoy the benefits.
