Zambia has recorded 1,308 new cases of Coronavirus out of 12,123 test done in the last 24 hours.
Minister of Health Jonas Chanda said said that the cumulative cases are now at 39,516, and a number of those in health facilities is 389 and 739 have been discharged.
Dr Chanda said 13 deaths have also been recorded in the last 24 hours.
He said government is putting more effort in the fight against Convid-19 and it is everyone’s duty to play an active role to win the fight.
Dr Chanda said the ministry is revising theCovid-19 testing strategy that is the criteria on who qualifies for the test in the nation.
