Government says there are 115 Secondary Schools whose works have stalled countrywide.
Education Minister Douglas Syakalima says 115 Secondary countrywide have had their works stalled, stating that most of the stalled works are for boarding schools.
Mr Syakalima said the boarding school for the Deaf in Lusaka’s Munali Township is one of the projects which have stalled for over 10 years.
He said Government will find resources and ensure some of the stalled projects are completed.
Mr Syakalima said inadequate secondary school space is contributing to early pregnancies among school girls that are forced to rent homes near schools.
He said most school pupils progressing to Secondary fail to find spaces because of inadequate space.
